Mia Balmforth is currently a Senior Analyst at Natrium Capital. She uses her Chemistry and industry background in the execution of both sell-side and buy-side transactions within the Chemical industry.

Mia has a first class (Hons) MSci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. Her Masters project explored electron transfer reactions in organic photoredox catalysis. During her degree, Mia spent a placement year at McMaster University (Ontario) working closely with the Surface Chemistry team at 3M to design a chemiresistive dissolved oxygen water sensor for use in water-quality monitoring.

She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
